Master of ceremonies Keith Douglas said the best town in the best state in the best country turned it on again on February 21.
"Well done to the sponsors, organisers, Hombre (Major), Deadly Dancers, Bulldust and the Choirboys, what a great night. Big shout out to Jo and Centacare for all the hard work," Mr Douglas said.
Deputy Mayor Cr Dane Swalling said the night was fantastic.
"That was an amazing night, I think the Give it Back Bash will need to become an annual thing," Cr Swalling said.
A Cloncurry community member said the night had a great vibe and it was fun for all ages,
"What an excellent night, well done to all involved, the street was packed with people having a great time," the community member said.
Coordinator Community Development Johanna Moore said the night went better than they could have hoped for.
"Family Fun Day had over 25 service providers running activities and the evening Street Party was buzzing, the community came out in full force to support the event and have a fun time with family and friends - including a huge number of residents from Mount Isa, Julia Creek, Winton and further afar," Ms Moore said.
Ms Moore said it was huge that over 1200 people attended the street party.
"The highlight was seeing the community get behind the event and having such a great time.
"We have not had one bad word about the event and after what has been a difficult year for Cloncurry and it was great to see this event bring everyone together and showcase how great Cloncurry is.
"The Choirboys and Bulldust were a definite highlight and the kids loved the free dodgem cars and rides."
Ms Moore said she was hopeful they could do the event again next year.
"This event took two and a half years to obtain all the required funding to make it happen and to most importantly make it happen free of cost for our community so we would need to look at the logistics and see if we can obtain funding from new sources to make it happen on a yearly basis."
