With voters going to the polls to elect their council representatives on Saturday March 28, the North West Star and the ABC will be holding the debate a few days earlier on Wednesday March 25 at the hall at Spinifex Senior Campus on Abel Smith Pde.
The three mayoral candidates Joyce McCulloch, David Fletcher and Danielle Slade will be invited to give a short opening speech and then we will throw the forum open to questions from the public.
North West Star editor Derek Barry said the format would be similar to the Traeger candidate forum the paper and ABC hosted at the same venue in 2017.
"This is a chance for voters to hear from the candidates and discuss issues important to them," Mr Barry said.
The event at 6.30pm for a 7pm start.
Attendance is free but be early to ensure you have a seat.
Early voting starts on March 16.
