Cr MacRae was first elected in the 2016 term and is now running as part of Mayor Joyce McCulloch's Progress Mount Isa team of the entire current council.
"I've really enjoyed the last four years and I'm proud of what the team was able to accomplish and I think we are heading in the right direction," Cr MacRae said.
"I think we'll be even more successful in the next four years because we don't have to learn what council is about, everyone knows what they have to do and knows the staff."
Cr MacRae said that while some people on Facebook said she was more visible compared to other councillors that was because her portfolio was responsible for most of Council's events.
"If you look at sport and rec, community engagement and youth, that's what most of the events are," she said.
"You don't have events for lots of the other portfolios so that has allowed me to meet a lot of people in the community."
Cr MacRae said the highlight of her portfolio over the last four years was bringing back the management of the Splashez Aquatic Centre under council, with the addition of barbecue facilities, additional swim classes and the reopening after major maintenance.
"That didn't start out in my portfolio, because we had a private lessee, and it was a natural fit for sports and rec," she said.
"Also the Legends of League event was really successful and opening up the Sign On day to community groups as well as sports groups was successful too."
As for the next four years, she said Council have been successful in applying for a large grant which would see another facility built in town, though the details have not yet been announced.
"We will continue to apply for all the different grants to upgrade facilities," she said.
"We understand it is difficult to get people to volunteer their time and we're looking to give as much support as we can and our sports and rec officer has been a really great asset."
As for Council achievements in general Cr MacRae nominates the new Animal Management Facility.
"I used to get a little distressed when I see the figures coming through about in the first six months about how many animals were being euthanised and things that had to be done," she said.
"But I think that has turned around working with charity groups in and out of town and now the facility is rehoming is something we can be proud of."
