It was fortunate that no one was seriously hurt after two cars collided in the Mount Isa suburb of Winston on Monday night.

The two vehicles crashed at the junction of Miles and Patricia St after 5pm and the accident was accident by police, ambulance and Queensland Fire and Emergency Services.
One person was taken to hospital as a result of their injuries.
Queensland Ambulance Service said their paramedics have transported one stable patient to Mount Isa Hospital after a two-vehicle crash on Miles and Patricia Streets at 5.10pm.
Police are investigating the cause.
