Cloncurry Shire Council announced the visit on their Facebook on Monday afternoon.
"We've got a special visitor, who has a soft spot for Cloncurry, passing through town tomorrow night," Council said.
"Due to COVID precautions, only a small number of people will be allowed to gather."
Council advised people that if they wanted the chance to meet the PM, they should email council@cloncurry.qld.gov.au.and provide their name, phone number, state if they are feeling unwell, and answer if they have been in a Queensland Health declared COVID hot spot in the last 14 days?:
This will be Mr Morrison's third visit to Cloncurry as prime minister.
Mr Morrison first visited the town as PM in February 2019 after the North West floods when he also visited Julia Creek.
He most famously visited Cloncurry in May 2019 just days after winning the election and he also went to the town cemetery to honour his aunt Dame Mary Gilmore who is buried there.
In September 2020 Mr Morrison had a zoom conversation with Cloncurry Mayor Greg Campbell where he said Cloncurry had always been a special place for him ever since he first went there as a young teenager with his older brother, to visit relatives who owned and ran a sheep and cattle station.
