Detectives from the Mount Isa Property Crime Investigation Squad have arrested three Mount Isa youths in relation to a number of break and enters throughout Mount Isa over the past two weeks, including the break and enter and extensive damage caused to Mount Isa Splashez swimming pool.

Two boys aged 12 and 13 years were charged with a total of 12 offences.
A girl aged 13 years was charged with 16 offences.
Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Simon Hardiker said that the Mount Criminal Investigation Branch encourages members of the public to come forward with information, no matter how insignificant it may seem.
“We will not tolerate mindless vandalism of Mount Isa’s community facilities and our dedicated property crime squad will continue to hold people accountable for such behaviour,” Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Hardiker said.
