“Recently we moved to another property in Mount Isa and found there was no grassy area for the children to play, so I went to the Lead Alliance to see if I could get some grass seeds and they encouraged me to enter the competition,” Mr Mitchell said.
Through the Living with Lead Alliance Backyard Improvement Program, the transformation of the yard took the young family seven months to complete and provided a healthier play area for their children.
Each year the Lead Alliance give Mount Isa residents with young children the opportunity to win some fantastic prizes by joining in the program.
