Local clubs, community groups and organisations are being urged to register to take part in the 2019 Sign-On Expo, which will be held on Saturday, February 2 at the Buchanan Park Entertainment Centre.

Mount Isa City Council councillor, Peta MacRae, said the Expo was a great opportunity for clubs and organisations to not only attract new members, but also boost community awareness of who they are and what they do.
“The Expo is not just for sporting groups, it’s for all local clubs and organisations,” Cr MacRae said.
“It’d be great if they could take this opportunity to let people who are new to town know what is available in Mount Isa.
“This year’s Expo is going to be bigger and better.
“They’re going to have a coffee lounge and a food area, so people can come along, grab lunch and see what this great community has to offer.”
The Expo will be held from 9am to 1pm at the Entertainment Centre. Registrations close on Monday, January 14.
