
A Mount Isa woman was fined for stealing from a local business when appearing in Mount Isa Magistrates Court on Monday April 1.
Debbie Lee Csoma, 45, pleaded guilty and was fined $400 and has to pay $85 restitution to Mount Isa East post Office to which she stole from in October 2018.

The court heard how Csoma and another person concealed two bottles of lotion valued at $85 before leaving the premises without paying.
According to Csoma's medical history she suffers from a degenerative back injury and was under the influence of her strong medication while conducting the crime.
Mount Isa Magistrate James Morton said Csoma had been before him several times for a number of different offences.
"I see you're still battling your drug issues, however you cannot walk into a business and help yourself."
