Storms threatened to break out all afternoon but in the end Mount Isa stayed mostly dry.
Those present enjoyed not only the five races present but also Dan Ballard's win on Damien Finter's Deadly Choices in the Country Cups Challenge in Doomben.
There were plenty of Christmas parties trackside and a full round of Fashions on the Field too.
