The Saxby Round-Up and Yelvertoft Campdraft both had to be postponed earlier this year due to the pandemic but now they are joining forces for a one-off event in August.
The committees of the two events have said they invited locals to save the date for for a limited program campdraft and rodeo to be held in Julia Creek on the weekend of August 14 to 16.
"There are a lot of variables and restrictions that need to be taken into consideration when planning an event during this time so stay tuned as plans develops," the committees said in a joint statement on Facebook.
Yelvertoft's Marcus Curr told the ABC Tuesday they planned to open the event to spectators and their plans was attracting a lot of interest.
"It will be limited but hopefully it will be a fun weekend," Mr Curr said.
The Yelvertoft Rodeo is normally held at Yelvertoft at Easter but was held in Julia Creek in 2018 due to the drought.
The Saxby Round-up is normally held in late July.
The Sedan Dip rodeo was also scheduled to be on August 16-18 but that has been cancelled for 2020.
