Premiering Sunday, 18 July at 7.30pm on 10 and 10 Play on demand, the series is much anticipated, not least in North West Queensland where it was shot on location.
It was announced in February that season six of Australian Survivor produced by Endemol Shine Australia for Network 10, would take place near Cloncurry, escaping the sandy beaches of Fiji for the harsh Outback.
The series wrapped up filming recently and the two tribes will go to war to settle the age-old question: Brains or Brawn?
The 12-strong Brains Tribe consists of six from NSW: real estate agent Cara, public servant George, pain researcher Hayley, head of partnerships Joey, environmental advocate Laura and author Wai; two from Victoria: ex-pro cyclist Baden and artist Phil, three from Queensland forensic psychologist Georgia, doctor Mitch and teacher and businesswoman Rachel as well as survival expert Andrew from the Northern Territory.
Brawn are hoping to flex more moves than muscle in this competition, with their Tribe members: entrepreneur Benny, personal trainer Daini, corrections officer Dani and model Shannon, all from New South Wales; MMA fighter Chelsea, champion woodchopper Gerald, cleaner Janelle and carpenter Simon from Queensland, South Australian AFL legend Gavin and health coach Emmett, professional surfer Flick and bodybuilder Kez representing Western Australia.
They will all vie to successfully outwit, outplay and outlast to claim the title of Sole Survivor 2021.
Australian Survivor: Brains V Brawn premieres Sunday, July 18 at 7.30pm on 10 And 10 Play On Demand.
There will be a live special screening in Cloncurry Shire Hall.
