The awards night will take place on Saturday, November 6 at the Buchanan Park Entertainment Centre and Jemena's Corporate Development Manager Queensland Gina Wilson said they were proud to be the major sponsor of the Northern Outback Business Awards for the third year in a row.
"We're happy to support, encourage and reward local and regional business, and we look forward to celebrating their strength, resilience and growth later this year," Ms Wilson said.
The awards offer the opportunity to recognise resilience and celebrate businesses excellence across all categories and are open to businesses across North West Queensland.
This year's awards nominations and judging will be run online again, with nominations opening on Monday August 23. A link to the awards will be placed on the Commerce North West website.
The theme of this year's awards is Strength Resilience and Growth.
Commerce North West said they had elected to represent these words along a botanical theme and the floral representations of these words are Wattle for resilience and Bottlebrush for strength.
Jemena operates a diverse portfolio of energy assets across the east coast of Australia including the Northern Gas Pipeline between Tennant Creek and Mount Isa.
