"No one knows Mount Isa better than Mount Isa people and it will be great to see that feedback," Cr Slade said on Thursday.
She said the council were keen to also acknowledge the traditional owners of the land, the Kalkadoon Nation and wanted their input as well.
"Now is the time to hear those voices before we lock it [designs] in."

Time is ticking to have a say on the lookout plans with feedback closing Friday, November 12.
She said two concepts had been done for Centennial Place with residents urged to jump into an online survey to provide their feedback, or head along for one of two face-to-face sessions on November 15 and 24, both starting at 5.30pm.
About 80 business owners, workers and residents also took part in a recent brain-storming session around idea planning for a CBD refresh, which Cr Slade hoped could be completed before the Centenary Celebrations of Mount Isa in 2023.
"There was a great vibe in the room, the consultants said 'the sky is the limit' and the energy went from 50 to 100 really quickly, I could see people really getting chuffed about how great it could be and having their voices there was key.
"They know the CBD better than anybody so it was important for us that no ones voices got watered down."
Emerging themes surrounded creating a safe, family friendly and greener CBD, with Cr Slade saying the ideas will be further developed with the next phase to open to broader community input.
"The over-arching theme is liveability in Mount Isa, we want people to enjoy living here and hanging out."
She said the initial group had been able to provide insight on seemingly basic, but critical bits of infrastructure, like public toilets, zebra crossings and providing shade for shoppers.
The mayor said there had been some wild and fantastic ideas thrown around about ways to beat the stifling heat with shade sails, easy parking and even the idea of a scooter circuit around the CBD to get people around.
Cr Slade said Tract Consultants who were part of the meeting and also did up the concept designs for the Centennial Place praised Mount Isa's wide streets and assured her lots could be done to improve the CBD without impacting on parking.
"We're really looking forward to seeing everyone's feedback, because it will be important to have it freshened up for the 100 in '23," she said.
