"Thank you to everyone who braved the rain to commemorate the service and sacrifices of our service men and women and their families," Cloncurry RSL said.
"It was humbling to see so many people put comfort and warmth aside to be present to pay their respects to the fallen who paid the ultimate sacrifice for the freedoms we are blessed with today."
Cloncurry held its biggest dawn service since before COVID followed by a gunfire breakfast.
Then later in the day veterans, community groups and schools marched to the Cenotaph for the day service which was followed by morning tea.
Cloncurry RSL acknowledged important people that made the 2022 ceremonies possible:
Garry Player from RSL Queensland, Celine, Gemma, Pearl and the team at Cloncurry Shire Council, Bob Guteridge, Corporal Philip Ly and Zac Fickling, Father Mick Lowcock, parade marshall Lachlan Neideck, Cloncurry school representatives Kenji and Claire, the Post Office Hotel for hosting the Gun Fire Breakfast and Cloncurry CWA for "putting on an amazing morning tea".
