Another week goes by with no rain as hopes fade of late wet season falls in the North West.
Tuesday will be mostly sunny in Mount Isa with a top of 37.
The temperature will drop to 23 overnight before similar conditions and temperatures arrive on Wednesday.
On Thursday there will be some relief with a maximum of 35 degrees, dropping to 34 over the weekend and into Monday.
The overnight minimums will be slightly lower too: 21 on Friday, 20 on Saturday and down to 19 on Sunday and Monday.
There is no rain at all in the forecast period and Mount Isa has had no official rain since 4.0mm on March 17 with just 7.2mm for the month of March, 64.2mm in February and 164.4mm in January.
It will be hot and sunny up in the Gulf too with little or no chance of rain on the horizon.
Normanton will see tops of up to 39 on Tuesday, down to 36 by the weekend.
Lake Moondarra has dipped under half full - now at 49.3pc full while Lake Julius is 94.3pc full.
